About Myself

Maybe you stumbled onto my site while surfing the net, were redirected here from another site's membership profile - or - you might even have in your hand one of the rare business cards I give out to people I've met in person wanting to discover a little more about me.

So, the basics then...

I was born and have lived in the Niagara Region of Southern Ontario for the entirety of my life. I love my area for it's rich history, geographical uniqueness/significance and also for it's temperate (for Canada) climate. I firmly believe (cold aside), that Canada is the best country in the world to live in.

I was in a relationship for 25 years. Now I'm not (we separated in 2015, and remain on good terms). I love dogs, like cats, become hypnotized by fish but currently own none of these.

I see nothing wrong with tossing chicken bones to feral children in the park. It would probably make for a good first date activity. Go ahead and steal my idea... I'm a regular Cupid.

I now consider myself semi-retired. I receive an Ontario disability pension which on occasion I supplement through creative efforts.

I have acted as an illustrator/designer in a professional capacity, and have also taught illustration privately.

I am a hobbyist musician and photographer, and I love to get out into nature. ( But... I have also been known to become annoyed when nature gets on my shoe.)

For medical reasons, I do not drive. An e-bike suffices in warmer weather (queue Steppenwolf ).
